Busy... Busy... Busy

My life feels a bit like a whirl wind at the moment. I have so much to do and so little time to do it in. (I am sure you all know that feeling!!)

I am currently,

1. working full time in marketing
2. Trying to get back into running after injury and training for my place to run in the Flora London Marathon in 2009
3. Attending regular weight watchers meetings
4. Going to the Gym and exercise classes to get fit and aide weightloss
5. Doing a distance learning HND in Business and Marketing
6. I have just become a PartyLite consultant part time (so home party plan selling candles)

Plus all the usual home things, house work, ironing etc. Plus I am an avid reader but never seem to get the time to actually read! Most frustrating as I would much rather be reading than doing most of those things on the list.

There is also always an underlying urge to do none of them at all and just veg infront of the TV or a good film every night instead!

Any ideas on how to get more hours in the day, other than getting up earlier (I am not a morning person!) then please do tell!

Oh my gosh you are busy aren't you. I dont know I always found the businer I was the more organised I was. However, I think you really have to slot in some down time where you do just veg out and do nothing. I do not have any secrets at all but congratulations for living your life and going forward. Let me know how your fitness campaign goes I need to do the same. I do not even think I could run to the mailbox at this point!

You can't do anything about the weekdays. You gotta do what you gotta do to amke a living.

But protect your weekends. Weekends are for you and your family. That's your down time. Read, watch tv, take all day to do the laundry, watch more tv....

You sure do have a lot on your plate. Makes me tired just to read about it. Sometimes, we have to just take a step back and see what we can eliminate from our lives. I used to think, "this time next year, I won't know if I did this or not" and go from there!

Whoa, I got dizzy just reading your schedule.
Sounds like you're happy and productive, though.

If I had to be so busy again I'd now know the benefits of a twenty minute meditation session to renew energy and keep myself centred.
Most of all though I'd know it was important NOT to be so busy and really look after myself.
But then I have the hindsight of 70 Plus. Take care.

Thank you for the visit to my blog. Reading is also my passion. Although I am retired and living on the Mountain ridge, my time still seems to everyone elses but mine. It is strange how that happens. Just when I think I have squirreled up a suffient amount of time for me, then up pops someone or something that I just can't say no to. I think that is the key right there...... We need to set our priorities and then learn to say no. Good Luck with that. I can tell you right now I am a very slow learner in that area of my life.
Have a Great day!

I keep an egg timer at each and every office desk. I use it to keep me TIME AWARE...

It's amazing how much more can be accomplished when FOCUS...is Key...!

And I feel your morning blues :)

I am very guilty of putting off all responsibilities and sitting in front of the TV or just hanging out with my hubby.
